Protests in US condemn Israeli aggression on Gaza Strip
Demonstrations in Washinton chanted in solidarity with the Gaza Strip, condemning American policies supporting the occupation.
Massive demonstrations broke out on the streets of Washington, calling for "Israel" to end its aggression and for the United States to end its support for "Israel." This protest comes amid signs of an imminent ground invasion of Rafah, where the majority of citizens reside after being displaced from their homes.
Demonstrators emphasized the urgent need to end the genocide in the Gaza Strip and to end Israeli crimes against innocent Palestinians.
They stood in front of the Capitol building, aiming to pressure members of Congress to intervene immediately to force the occupation to stop its aggression against the Gaza Strip.
Demonstrations were held in Manhattan, New York; Seattle, Washington; and Kingston, Philadelphia, to express solidarity with Palestinian rights and to condemn US policies of unwavering support for the occupation authorities in their aggression against Palestinians.

This week, the White House revealed that US President Joe Biden planned to ensure the safety of Palestinians in Rafah before the advancement of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's military invasion of Rafah.
During a phone call between Biden and Netanyahu, the US president reiterated "his view that a military operation in Rafah should not proceed without a credible and executable plan for ensuring the safety of and support for the more than one million people sheltering there."
The White House said Biden assured Netanyahu that defeating Hamas and ensuring long-term security for "Israel" is a common goal. This comes a day after the US administration requested that "Israel" pause the invasion of Rafah until after Ramadan.
