During his speech at the UNGA, the Iranian President raises the picture of martyr General Qassem Soleimani and calls for a fair tribunal to investigate his assassination.
Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi raised Wednesday a picture of the former commander of Al-Quds Force, martyr Qassem Soleimani, at the headquarters of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York.
During his speech at the 77th meeting of the UNGA, Raisi indicated that the former US president admitted that America created ISIS, pointing out that no matter which president is the one who created this terrorist organization, Iran, spearheaded by martyr Qassem Soleimani, managed to defeat this project.

The Iranian President called for punishing former US President Donald Trump, who ordered the assassination of Soleimani in a barbaric and illegal manner.
"The previous president of the United States [Trump] effectively managed to sign the document of the savage crime, an illegal crime, an immoral crime," he indicated.
Raisi called for establishing a fair tribunal to investigate the 2020 assassination.

"We seek a fair tribunal… to bring to justice those who martyred our beloved General Qasem Soleimani," he affirmed.
On January 3, 2020, the commander of the Quds Force of the Islamic Revolution's Guards Corps, Major General Qassem Soleimani, and the deputy commander of the Popular Mobilization Forces, Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis, were martyred by a US missile strike near Baghdad International Airport.
It is noteworthy that Raisi arrived Monday at the head of a high-level delegation to New York, to participate in the 77th meeting of the UNGA.
