Rafah massacre exposes US-Israeli lies of alleged 'safe zone': Hamdan
Osama Hamdan has held the US administration fully responsible for the Rafah massacre on Sunday.
Hamas senior official Osama Hamdan condemned the Israeli massacre in Rafah, saying it was an "attempt at revenge" amid "Israel's" consistent failure against the Palestinian Resistance.
In a press conference, Hamdan held the US administration fully responsible for the massacre in Rafah and those in all of Gaza, affirming that they are exposing the US and Israeli fabricated claims of the existence of safe zones in the Strip.
He further stated that the timing of the massacres over the past two days has been a clear challenge by Netanyahu against the International Court of Justice.
He also slammed the Israeli claims of the presence of Hamas fighters at the refugee camp where "Israel" committed its crime as "insolent", with images of the camp, which was located far away from any operation area, and civilian martyrs refuting these allegations.
Regarding the Israeli captives held in Gaza, Hamdan stressed that they would not be returned unless it was by the Resistance's conditions, detailed in the proposal brought forward by mediators.
The senior Hamas official also praised the Resistance's victories, from al-Qaasam to al-Quds Brigades, and the rest of the factions, highlighting that they exposed the occupation's lies claiming it targeted or deterred the Resistance. He further hailed the battles undergone by Resistance fighters on support fronts.
Addressing the international community, particularly the ICJ, Hamdan demanded that it implement international decisions to sanction and punish the Israeli occupation, while simultaneously urging Egypt to open the Rafah crossing for humanitarian aid deliveries.
Hamdan concluded his statement by calling on Palestinians in the West Bank and the 1948-occupied territories to revolt as a means to champion their people in Gaza.
'Israel' commits gruesome massacre in Rafah alleged safe zone
More than 40 Palestinians have been killed and dozens injured by the Israeli occupation forces massacre against Rafah on the night of May 26, the Civil Defense in Gaza said today.
Al Mayadeen's correspondent said that it is hard to determine the final number of Palestinians killed by the IOF in this massacre, as due to the magnitude of the explosion some people were lost, and others were seriously injured amid a collapsing health system in the Gaza Strip.
Our correspondent added that hospitals in Rafah have completely collapsed and people are now relying on field hospitals that cannot provide the required medical services for the injured Palestinians.
Most of those who were killed in the Rafah massacre were displaced Palestinians from Gaza City and the northern Gaza Strip, he said.
Earlier tonight, the Israeli occupation forces carried out another appalling massacre in the displacement refugee camps northwest of #Rafah, killing at least 26 Palestinians and injuring a dozen more.
