Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi extended on Saturday his heartfelt wishes to King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman on the occasion of Saudi Arabia's National Day.
In a statement released by the Iranian Presidency, it was conveyed that President Raisi sent separate messages to King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed on the anniversary of the Saudi National Day.
The statement went on to highlight the shared political and economic interests between Iran and Saudi Arabia: emphasizing that the common cultural bonds serve as a strong foundation for friendship between the two Islamic nations, contributing to the enhancement of mutual ties.
Furthermore, President Raisi expressed his hopes for the expansion of relations between the two countries in all areas.

Earlier this month, Abdullah bin Saud al-Anzi, the newly appointed Saudi Arabian Ambassador to Tehran, expressed his utmost satisfaction regarding the recent reestablishment of diplomatic relations between the two nations during a meeting hosted at the Chinese embassy in Tehran.
Al-Anzi emphasized that these ties would flourish across various domains, encompassing trade, economics, and investment through fostering bilateral relations.
