Raisi: Iran Capable of Reaching Its Assets in Other Countries
Iran's President Ebrahim Raisi says he hopes to resolve his country's crisis, and adds that a step forward has been made in supplying 100 million coronavirus vaccine doses.
Iran's President, Ebrahim Raisi, spoke today before parliament, 83 days after the new government was formed and given a vote of confidence.
In his speech, Raisi said that he hoped more than ever that the country's problems would be resolved thanks to the government's efforts, and its cooperation with parliament and other powers.
In the session convened to determine the aptitude of the president's chosen education minister, Masoud Fayyazi, the Iranian president noted that the government is capable of reaching its financial assets in other countries at the moment, asserting that Iran's financial problems will be resolved, and that borrowing from Iran's central bank will cease.
He clarified that a positive step has been taken to provide 100 million coronavirus doses to save people's lives.
Iran's president also noted that the danger still stands, but the step was very effective in providing vaccine doses to remove citizens' concerns of its unavailability.
Improvement in Iran's foreign policy
As for Iran's foreign policy, Raisi said that Iran's international and diplomatic interactions have increased especially in terms of its Good-Neighbor policy.
He clarified that the current status-quo shows that Iran treats Eastern and Western countries in the same way, as countries looking for good relations based on respect with Iran have witnessed how ties with them have developed into lively relations.
Raisi further stated that the government has had great success in oil sales, increased revenue, has witnessed an increase of foreign capital, and is also taking some other positive measures in economic policies.
