Raisi: Time for Renaissance in Iran
After President Raisi presented his ministerial candidates to the Islamic Consultative Assembly, the latter started deliberations on the competence of ministers on Saturday. Raisi also stressed that it is time to build a strong Iran.
Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi stated that all the government's plans had been crafted in a way to enforce justice and progress in providing opportunities and facilities, stressing that it is time for a renaissance to build a stronger Iran.
Raisi, while attending the Shura Council (Islamic Consultative Assembly) meeting to deliberate the proposed ministers, said he and his government acknowledge that they have a short amount of time to serve the Iranian people and that their suffering is great.
The government will not reach its goal without resilience, Raisi said. The president explained that change would not happen unless they rely on and follow the fundamental ideas of the Islamic revolution and Wilayat Al-Faqih.
Additionally, Raisi commended the intellectual abilities of the Iranians, clarifying that they must be invested alongside the unity of the Iranian people and MPs to build a strong Iran.
Raisi presented his ministerial propositions to Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, the speaker for the Islamic Shura Council, on August 11. The Islamic Shura Council started deliberations on the competence of Ebrahim Raisi's ministers on Saturday.
Raisi attended the meeting to defend the ministers he proposed to be part of his government.
Toward the end of June, Raisi announced the beginning of a new phase of work and cooperation to form a government, calling on his opponents to cooperate with him to solve the Iranian people's problems.
