Iran and Lebanon saw huge celebrations following the ceasefire established between "Israel" and Iran, with many hailing Tehran's "historic victory" and calling it a defeat for the US-Israeli agenda in the region.
On Wednesday evening, crowds gathered in multiple cities across Iran and Lebanon for celebrations and solidarity rallies in support of the Islamic Republic of Iran, after the ceasefire between Iran and the Israeli occupation was announced.
The events culminated in a massive musical celebration in Freedom Square in the Iranian capital, Tehran, led by world-renowned conductor Nasir Heydarian and featuring 70 musicians, celebrating the political and military victory over the joint Israeli-American aggression.
Beirut, South Lebanon celebrate in solidarity
In Lebanon, solidarity gatherings were organized in Beirut and the city of Nabatieh, attended by political and popular figures in support of the Islamic Republic of Iran and in rejection of Israeli and American aggression. Participants raised Iranian, Palestinian, and Hezbollah flags while chanting slogans condemning the American-Israeli project in the region.
At the solidarity march in Beirut, Iran’s chargé d'affaires in Lebanon, Tofiq Samadi, declared, "Iran dealt with the latest attack as a sovereign and independent nation would," adding that "Operation True Promise 3 reflected an unwavering principle: that Iran's security, sovereignty, and interests are not subject to any compromise or blackmail."
Iran humiliated 'Israel', its backers: Samadi
Samadi noted that "Iran succeeded in humiliating the occupying entity and its supporters, forcing them to retreat without achieving their goals," stressing that "Iran's historic victory will reshape the region's future."
The chargé d'affaires also emphasized that "Iran's strong hand will remain on the trigger, with a watchful eye on its borders," vowing that any aggression will be met with a stronger, harsher, and more decisive response.
Samadi highlighted how the Iranian people's remarkable unity behind their leadership serves as the most powerful demonstration of this victory, asserting that the effects of this achievement would gradually become evident across all domains, from defense and foreign affairs to economic development.
