Rep. Paul Gosar "Kills" AOC, Swings Swords at Biden
Ocasio-Cortez replied by tweeting Gosar would “face no consequences", adding that House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy would "cheer him on with excuses."
US Republican lawmaker Paul Gosar shared an anime video, showing an edited version intro song from the famous Attack on Titan (AOT) anime, depicting him killing Democratic congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
The video also shows Gosar “swinging swords” at President Joe Biden.

Simultaneously, social media users widely condemned the video amid calls for his Twitter and Instagram accounts to be suspended. Meanwhile, Twitter said the video violated its "hateful conduct" policy, preventing users from liking, replying, or retweeting it.
Who reacted?
On her account, US Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez responded with a Twitter thread stressing that the video was posted by a "creepy member I work with.”
So while I was en route to Glasgow, a creepy member I work with who fundraises for Neo-Nazi groups shared a fantasy video of him killing me

Ocasio-Cortez has affirmed that she expected no repercussions from the Republican House leader.
“White supremacy is for extremely fragile people and sad men like him, whose self-concept relies on the myth that he was born superior because deep down he knows he couldn’t open a pickle jar or read a whole book by himself,” she also tweeted.
Furthermore, Rep. Eric Swalwell wrote in a tweet that McCarthy's "colleague just posted a video of himself swinging two swords at President Biden. These blood-thirsty losers are more comfortable with violence than voting."
The 90-second video was also slammed Rep. Ted Lieu who described Gosar's behavior as "sick.”
This is sick behavior from Rep. Paul Gosar. He tweeted out the video showing him killing Rep. Ocasio-Cortez from both his official account and personal account. "In any workplace in America, if a coworker made an anime video killing another coworker, that person would be fired" he tweeted.
Yet again, there he Gosars
Gosar's deemed extremist views have long been criticized, including his role in instigating Jan.6 Capitol attack.
He also backed the 2017 white nationalist rally in Charlottesville and planned one of the events that advocated “White Supremacy.”
Any anime fans out there?
The video — shared with the caption, "Any anime fans out there?", appears to be an altered version of a Japanese animated series Attack on Titan, with real-life footage of US Border Patrol officers rounding up migrants at the US-Mexico border interspersed.
