Repeated strikes show coordination between 'Israel', terrorists: Syria
The Syrian Foreign Ministry says the repeated attacks on Syria prove beyond any doubt the deliberate intentions to prolong the crisis.
The Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates on Friday affirmed that the repeated Israeli aggressions on Syria show the close coordination between the Israeli occupation and terrorist groups to prolong the crisis.
On Twitter, the Ministry tweeted that "Israel" continues to practice its criminal war policies against Syria, as its planes committed new aggression in coordination with the terrorist groups that launched an attack against the Syrian forces in Al-Dana area in Idlib province.
On Friday, the Syrian Defense Ministry confirmed that Syrian Army units repelled a terrorist attack on Thursday on the Basratoun direction in Aleppo's western countryside, killing several terrorists and wounding others. It added that the Army also repelled another attack in the town of Al-Dana near Ma’arat Al-Numan in Idlib countryside.
The Syrian Foreign Ministry indicated that these repeated attacks show the close coordination between the Israeli terrorists and the terrorist groups and prove beyond any doubt the deliberate intentions against Syria to prolong the crisis and deplete the Syrian capabilities.
"Syria stresses its readiness to face all these challenges and fascist aggressions, to achieve the will of the Syrian people in victory and to impose Syrian sovereignty over all its territories," the Ministry concluded.

The statement comes hours after Al Mayadeen correspondent in Syria reported that the Syrian air defenses intercepted an Israeli aggression that targeted the south of the Syrian capital, Damascus.
The Syrian news agency SANA reported earlier that an explosion was heard in the vicinity of Damascus.

"At 00:17 (21:17 GMT), the Israeli enemy carried out an aerial attack by firing several missiles from the occupied Syrian Golan and targeting a site in the vicinity of Damascus," the news agency reported on Friday, citing a military source.
The source added that several missiles were intercepted by Syrian air defenses, reporting material damage.
One IRGC advisor martyred in latest Israeli strike on Syria
On its part, Iran's Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) announced that one of its advisors was martyred in last night's Israeli aggression that targeted the vicinity of Damascus.
In a statement, the IRGC condemned "the inaction and silence of international organizations in these repeated Israeli violations and the breach of the sovereignty and unity of Syrian territory." It also warned that there would be retaliation for this crime.
The recent Israeli aggression comes less than 24 hours after SANA reported on Thursday that two Syrian army personnel were injured and material damage was caused due to Israeli airstrikes that targeted some sites in the vicinity of Damascus.
A military source confirmed that "at about 01:20 a.m. on Thursday, the Israeli enemy carried out an aerial act of aggression with several missiles from the direction of the occupied Syrian Golan, targeting some sites in the vicinity of Damascus City."
"Our air defenses intercepted the missiles and shot down some of them," the source indicated, adding that "two army personnel were injured in the aggression which also caused some material damages."
The Syrian Foreign and Expatriates Ministry affirmed that "the Israeli terrorist aggression that targeted some points in the vicinity of Damascus city this morning is nothing but a continuation of the fascist method of the Israeli entity towards the peoples and countries of the region."
"This hostile act is an attempt by that entity to escape from the internal disintegration witnessed there," the Ministry tweeted following the aggression.
It added that "the region cannot enjoy peace or stability unless putting an end to the Israeli occupation and its repeated attacks."
