Republican National Convention begins in Milwaukee
Despite a recent assassination attempt on Trump, Secret Service plans remain unchanged.
The US Republican Party's national convention began on Monday in Milwaukee, where delegates confirm former President Donald Trump as their 2024 presidential nominee.
According to reports, delegates from 56 states and territories will approve the party platform, select a presidential ticket, and hear from various speakers, including Trump Jr., model Amber Rose, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, and UFC chief Dana White.
Each day of the convention will feature a unique theme inspired by Trump’s "Make America Great Again" slogan. Monday’s theme is "Make America Wealthy Once Again."
Despite a recent assassination attempt on Trump, Secret Service plans remain unchanged.

On Sunday, Rep. Mike Waltz (R-Fla.) raised allegations against Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, claiming that he repeatedly denied requests for stronger Secret Service protection for former President Trump.
I have very reliable sources telling me there have been repeated requests for stronger secret service protection for President Trump.
