Resistance changed fate of region: Sayyed Khamenei
Sayyed Khamenei emphasizes how the Israeli occupation could not eliminate Resistance movements from the region, despite killing over 50,000 innocent civilians.
Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Sayyed Ali Khamenei, stated that the Resistance Front's tenacity and efforts had transformed the fate and history of the region.
Sayyed Khamenei made the comment at a meeting with the organizers of the Congress for the Commemoration of the 15,000 Martyrs of Iran's Fars Province in Tehran on Wednesday, October 23.
He emphasized the inability of the Zionist regime to dismantle the Resistance Front despite killing over 50,000 innocent civilians, implying that Western culture and politicians suffered an even worse setback.
“The Resistance Front is standing firmly before that front of evil. With God’s grace, the Resistance Front will be the victors," Sayyed Khamenei said.
He emphasized that the current events in Gaza, Lebanon, and the West Bank are historic, adding, "If there were no people like martyr (Yahya) Sinwar who would fight until the last moment, or if there were no great people like martyr Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah who combined Jihad, wisdom, courage, and sacrifice to bring them to the field, the fate of the region would have been determined in a different way."
According to him, the events in the region have resulted in a significant loss not only for "Israel", but also for Western civilization and culture.
Western politicians 'did not even raise an eyebrow'
Sayyed Khamenei highlighted that despite murdering over 50,000 civilians and prominent leaders, "Israel" could not eliminate the Resistance movements in the region, adding that they are still "fighting with the same spirit and strength."
He also touched on the fact that the Israeli occupation is being supported by massive amounts of money from the US, noting that this has sparked global outrage and protests, particularly on US university campuses.
He went on to say that the slaughter of 10,000 innocent children with two-ton bombs and other weapons, while Western politicians "did not even raise an eyebrow", exposed them as fake champions of human rights.
Ayatollah Khamenei referred to "Israel's" supporters as the "front of evil," adding, "Against this front of evil stands the front of resistance, and by the grace of God, victory belongs to the Resistance Front."
Tehran accuses US of complicity in an anticipated Israeli attack on Iran
Iran's mission to the UN accused Washington on Monday of complicity regarding the potential Israeli strike on Iran, voicing serious concerns.
In a letter addressed to UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and the Security Council presidency, Iran raised concerns about recent statements from US President Joe Biden, who indicated he was informed about "Israel's" intentions to launch an attack on Iran.
The letter stated, "This inflammatory statement is deeply concerning, as it indicates the United States' tacit approval and explicit support for Israel’s unlawful military aggression against Iran," emphasizing that such rhetoric undermines Washington’s repeated claims of supporting "de-escalation in the Middle East."
The letter referenced comments made by Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi on October 18 on X, in which he issued a warning, "Anybody with knowledge or understanding of 'how and when Israel was going to attack Iran', and/or providing the means and backing for such folly, should logically be held accountable for any possible causality."

Accusing the US of involvement "through its provision of technical expertise and advanced weaponry, including sophisticated air defense systems, to Israel," the Iranian mission blamed Washington for complicity "in any Israeli aggression against Iran and its consequences.”
"It has already been complicit in the ongoing war crimes and genocidal campaign targeting civilians and civilian infrastructure in Gaza and Lebanon," the letter added.
