On Saturday, the Israeli occupation forces stormed the city of Qalqilya, north of the West Bank, where Palestinian Resistance fighters confronted them.

Al Mayadeen's correspondent in the West Bank reported that Israeli forces have once again launched a raid on the city, advancing from its southern entrance.

Confrontations broke out between the Resistance and Israeli occupation forces during the raid, with heavy live fire exchange. The confrontations left one young man wounded in the foot.

The occupation forces also stormed the city of Nablus in the northern West Bank, where they reportedly used a Palestinian youth as a human shield while entering a building. The forces also launched a raid on the village of Tell, west of Nablus, firing tear gas bombs at Palestinians and their homes.

This latest attack on Nablus follows an earlier raid at dawn, during which Israeli forces also stormed the town of Beit Iba. During the dawn operations across the West Bank, the occupation forces reportedly arrested two freed prisoners, according to local media sources.

Palestinian media reported that Israeli forces stormed Nablus from the Sarra checkpoint in the morning, deploying a large number of military vehicles to conduct a raid on a residential building located on Asira Street.

Another contingent of Israeli forces was deployed across several western and central neighborhoods, where they fired live ammunition and tear gas at residents and their homes before conducting additional raids on several houses.

Early on Friday,  the Israeli occupation forces invaded Nablus only to be met by the local Resistance groups who confronted the occupation forces in defense of the city, its people, and its identity.

The Resistance faced the raiding Israeli occupation forces with gunfire and explosive devices, successfully repelling the aggression by forcing the occupation forces to withdraw from the region.

The military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement, al-Quds Brigades - Nablus Brigade, announced that its freedom fighters confronted the incursion into the Old City of Nablus with heavy barrages of bullets.
