Al Mayadeen's correspondent in Gaza on Friday reported that the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) were encountering strong resistance as they tried to breach the Gaza Strip.

According to the correspondent, the Israeli side has suffered notable losses.

The Al-Qassam Brigades managed to destroy multiple tanks in the Al-Nasr neighborhood, preliminary reports indicate, emphasizing the resistance's actions in responding to the invading forces on four distinct fronts in the western area of Gaza.

At present, confrontations persist with the IOF in the western territories of Tel Al-Hawa and near Al-Shifa Hospital.

The correspondent highlighted the steadfastness of the hospital's defense lines against the IOF's progression due to the efforts of the resistance.

Additionally, reports indicate internal discussions within the IOF concerning communication loss with some of their troops amidst the clashes west of al-Shati Refugee Camp.

The IOF intensified their bombardment of the Gaza Strip, employing phosphorus bombs in the northern region of Gaza City and near Al-Shifa, Al-Nasr, and Al-Ayoun hospitals.

Furthermore, the occupation conducted airstrikes on Al-Bureij Camp in the central Gaza Strip, leading to casualties and injuries. Sources from Al Mayadeen confirmed casualties and injuries following the occupation's bombing of a house in the Toba area of Jabalia Camp in the sector's northern part.

Earlier today, the occupation targeted several hospitals in the area. Its snipers directly targeted displaced persons in Al-Quds Hospital as well as its Intensive Care Unit. Similarly, the same unit in Al-Shifa Hospital and its surroundings were directly attacked by the IOF.

In a statement, the director of Al-Shifa Medical Complex wrote, "Today was a day of war on hospitals," further expressing concerns that the IOF might target the entire medical complex.

On the same day, the IOF committed a massacre by shelling the Al-Buraq school in the Nasr neighborhood in Gaza, where 25 martyrs were reported. Another massacre was carried out when they targeted displaced individuals on Salah al-Din Street, preventing ambulances from reaching the injured.

In response to these civilian massacres, the Palestinian resistance continued to target the occupied cities and settlements. Al-Qassam Brigades announced launching a rocket barrage on Tel Aviv. They also targeted Kibbutz Nirim with several mortar shells and earlier struck the Re'im military base in the eastern part of the Strip with a rocket barrage.

Al-Qassam Brigades confirmed that their drone dropped an anti-personnel shell on an Israeli soldiers' gathering northwest of Gaza City. They targeted an Israeli tank and a bulldozer with Yaseen 105 shells south of Gaza City.
