Resistance factions call for general mobilization in West Bank

The Palestinian Resistance factions have called for general mobilization in the West Bank, calling on people to fulfill their responsibilities in confronting the widespread Israeli aggression.

The Palestinian Resistance factions issued statements in response to the extensive Israeli aggression that the Israeli occupation forces launched on Wednesday morning across the northern occupied West Bank region of occupied Palestine. 

Hamas urges West Bank mobilization in defense of Palestine

In its statement, Hamas confirmed that the Israeli occupation's aggression against the West Bank is "an attempt to implement the plans of the extremist government," emphasizing that, in addition to the ongoing genocide in Gaza, the aggression in the West Bank is a natural outcome of the "suspicious international silence" over "Israel's" blatant violations of all international laws.

Hamas called for escalating all forms of Resistance and confronting the invading Israeli occupation and its settlers "in every part of our occupied land," urging the people, freedom fighters, and rebellious youth across the West Bank to mobilize.

Hamas further urged the Palestinian security forces "to fulfill their responsibilities, recognize the dangers threatening our national cause, join the sacred battle of our people, and continue the path of Resistance until the occupation is defeated and our people achieve their freedom and right to self-determination."

Moreover, in the statement, Hamas emphasized that the current IOF campaign "will inevitably break before the steadfastness and fortitude of our people in the cities, towns, and camps of the West Bank."

Mujahideen Movement: Aggression on West Bank part of open war on Palestine

The Mujahideen Movement, for its part, stated that the "aggression against the West Bank was part of the open war led by the occupation government and its leader, Benjamin Netanyahu."

The movement held the US administration "fully responsible for this new brutal aggression against our people in the West Bank due to its sponsorship and support for the terrorism and crimes of the occupying entity [Israel]."

Moreover, the movement also called on "everyone who can bear arms to raise them against the Israeli aggression" and urged the Palestinian security forces to engage in defending the Palestinian people in the West Bank.

PIJ: Operation Terror of the Camps will prevail

Since the first moments of the Israeli occupation's wide-scale aggression against the West Bank, the al-Quds Brigade, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ), announced the launch of Operation Terror of the Camps in response to the aggression.

The announcement came in response to the Israeli military command's announcement of its operation in the West Bank which it dubbed the "Summer of Camps," in reference to the refugee camps it is invading. 

Resistance Committees in Palestine: Aggression will backfire

In turn, the Resistance Committees in Palestine emphasized that the crimes of the Israeli occupation and the escalation in the West Bank "will backfire on the Zionists."

In their statement, the Committees pointed out that the imposition of sieges around hospitals across several West Bank cities is an extension of the Israeli occupation's crimes, which began in the Gaza Strip 11 months ago.

Furthermore, the Resistance Committees called on the Palestinian people in the occupied West Bank, al-Quds, and the Palestinians in the '48 occupied territories to rise, revolt, unite, and strike against the Israeli occupation while mourning the martyrs killed in the ongoing Israeli aggression.

Fatah Movement: Aggression bound to fail

In turn, the Fatah Movement said that the Israeli occupation's aggression against "Gaza and the West Bank will not terrorize our people or dispel their will for freedom and independence."

The Movement further stressed, in its statement, that the current Israeli aggression against the Palestinian cities of Jenin, Tulkarm, Tubas, and their camps will "fail to achieve its objectives of displacing our people."

PA: Israeli occupation's escalation in West Bank an extension of war of extermination

In turn, the Palestinian Authority's presidency stated that the Israeli occupation's aggression "comes as a continuation of the comprehensive war against our people, our land, and our holy sites."

Nabil Abu Rudeina, spokesperson for the Palestinian presidency, said that this Israeli "policy of escalation, destruction of cities, killing citizens, arrests and colonization will not bring security and stability to anyone, and everyone will pay the price for these Israeli follies."

Abu Rudeina then called on the US to "intervene immediately and force the occupation authorities to stop their comprehensive war," calling on the world to "take immediate and urgent action to stop this "extremist government that poses a threat to the stability of the region and the entire world.”

The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the escalation by the occupation in the West Bank is an extension of the campaign of genocide and displacement, aimed at undermining the resilience of the Palestinians on their land.

The ministry also announced that it is conducting calls with international institutions to hold them accountable for their obligations concerning the ongoing aggression by the occupation.
