Confrontations erupted in the Nablus governorate, north of the West Bank, as Israeli occupation forces stormed the old city.

Palestinian sources said that the occupation forces raided the vicinity of the Old City and besieged a house in Al-Yasmina neighborhood, amid violent confrontations with Resistance fighters as the latter sought to protect their city and people.

The Palestine Red Crescent Society said that its teams dealt with two injuries sustained by shrapnel from the occupation bullets in Nablus.

According to the Nablus Brigade, its Resistance fighters opened fire at the occupation vehicles that stormed the Al-Yasmina neighborhood.

15 acts of resistance in the past 24 hours

The West Bank witnessed 15 acts of resistance, including armed attacks, Molotov cocktails, confronting settlers, and vehicle destruction, during the past 24 hours. Palestinians confronted the settlers' attacks, and one of the settlers' vehicles was destroyed in the town of Hawara, south of Nablus.

Moreover, Resistance fighters opened fire from a speeding car, targeting the "Ofra" settlement, which is built on the lands of the Silwad town, east of Ramallah.

Additionally, Resistance fighters targeted the "Karmi Tzur" settlement in al-Khalil and shots were fired during confrontations with the occupation forces that stormed the town of Beit Ummar, north of Al-Khalil.

This comes at a time when the Lions' Den resistance group announced, on Tuesday, that it raised the state of alert and readiness among its fighters and resistance fighters in Nablus, Ramallah, al-Khalil, and Jenin.

The group announced that its fighters carried out 5 shooting operations last Friday, targeting the Beit Furik and Hawara checkpoints, in addition to targeting gatherings of the occupation soldiers at the "Gerzim "checkpoint in the occupied city of Nablus.
