Resistance fighters inflict losses on Israeli forces in al-Zeitoun

Palestinian resistance factions carried out coordinated attacks in al-Zeitoun and surrounding areas, striking Israeli soldiers and vehicles with mortars, anti-armor shells, and guided missiles while continuing to repel occupation incursions.

Palestinian resistance factions pressed forward with coordinated operations against Israeli forces across the Gaza Strip, with battles intensifying south of the al-Zeitoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City, and in the north of the Strip.
The al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, struck a gathering of Israeli soldiers and military vehicles at the al-Hajj Fadl site south of the neighborhood, using several mortar shells. In a separate operation on Tuesday, al-Qassam fighters targeted a D9 armored bulldozer with an anti-armor Yassin-105 shell near the Salah al-Din Mosque.
The Mujahideen Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Mujahideen Movement, also joined the fight, bombarding occupation troops in the Ard al-Barasi area south of al-Zeitoun with mortar fire. The group confirmed direct and accurate hits and released footage documenting the strike.

Meanwhile, Saraya al-Quds, the military formation of Islamic Jihad, showcased video of its fighters, working jointly with al-Qassam units, striking an Israeli Eitan APC east of al-Zeitoun with a Kornet anti-tank guided missile.

The Al-Nasser Salah al-Din Brigades, linked to the Popular Resistance Committees, published similar footage of their mortar attacks on Israeli troop positions and vehicles in the same sector, underscoring the unified front of Palestinian fighters.

These battlefield developments come as "Israel" continues to face mounting political and military pressure. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has been accused of stalling ceasefire negotiations to preserve his fragile right-wing coalition and avoid political and legal downfall, including the threat of an International Criminal Court warrant and his ongoing corruption trial.
His government’s insistence on prolonging the war has fueled divisions within "Israel’s" leadership, as military chiefs argue for partial deals to secure captives while Netanyahu and his far-right allies push for escalation.
Despite "Israel’s" siege by land, air, and sea, Palestinian factions remain defiant, demonstrating operational resilience and inflicting sustained losses on Israeli forces in both manpower and equipment.
