Resistance group targets IOF with explosive devices in Nablus
Al-Mujahideen Brigades targets two separate groupings of Israeli occupation forces in Nablus in response to the storming of the Balata camp and the killing of three Palestinians.
Al-Mujahideen Brigades in the West Bank announced via a military communiqué that it targeted a grouping of Israeli occupation forces (IOF) in Nablus.
"A group of fighters from cell No. (685) of Al-Mujahideen Brigades in the occupied West Bank" engaged in confrontations with a group of Zionist occupation forces who stormed the Balata camp earlier.
The statement revealed that the Resistance fighters targeted IOF soldiers with two homemade explosive devices that were planted at Amman Street opposite the Ministry of Health at 2:07 pm (local time). The group added that they retaliated against another group of Israeli soldiers next to a local university in the area with a homemade explosive device at 2:15 pm (local time).
The IOF stormed Nablus on Monday dawn, killing three Palestinians and wounding 3 others at the Balata refugee camp, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health.
At dawn today, the Palestinian Ministry of Health announced that three were martyred and three others were wounded by Israeli occupation gunfire during the storming of Balata camp and besieging a house.
The Ministry identified the martyrs as Fathi Jihad Rizq, 30, Abdullah Yousef Abu Hamdan, 24, and Mohammad Bilal Zeitoun, 32.
In this context, the Nablus Brigade announced that its Balata group confronted the IOF at different positions in the camp, opening fire and using explosive devices to deter the Israeli aggression.
