Resistance in Gaza ambushes, snipes at invading Israeli forces
The Israeli occupation forces invading Gaza are incurring paramount losses as the Resistance continues to bombard their positions and lure their soldiers into ambushes.
The Palestinian Resistance fighters in the occupied Gaza Strip are engaging in fierce battles against the invading Israeli forces on several axes within the blockaded Strip as the IOF continue to incur paramount losses.
The entire northern direction of the Gaza Strip is embroiled in heavy fighting amid fierce resistance against the invading Israeli soldiers, Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported.
Jabalia al-Balad of northern Gaza has witnessed numerous violent battles as the Resistance fighters inflicted a high number of casualties on the invading Israeli forces.
Northern Tal al-Zaatar has also seen heavy fighting amid violent confrontations taking place in its northeastern direction after the Resistance thwarted an Israeli invasion attempt.
Another hub for brutal confrontations was Bet Lahia and Beit Hanoun in the north, as well as Juhr al-Dik and Deir Balah in central Gaza.
The battles also included al-Shujaiya neighborhood that is still holding up despite being nearly carpet bombed by the Israeli occupation forces.
The Palestinian Resistance has been able to inflict major losses on the invading Israeli forces by either luring them into ambushes and traps or by picking them out and sniping them.
There are various means the Palestinian Resistance has been utilizing in ambushing the Israeli occupation forces, including luring the soldiers before going on to liquidate them en masse.
The spokesperson of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP) said its forces got a confirmed kill on one Israeli soldier with 10 other confirmed casualties that include numerous deaths.
Al-Quds Brigades, the Palestinian Islamic Jihad's military wing, said its forces launched rockets and artillery shells at the Israeli occupation's positions in the vicinity of Gaza.
Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hamas Resistance movement, announced that it destroyed or took out of service two Israeli Merkava tanks in Jabalia al-Balad using al-Yassin-105 anti-armor RPG.
Al-Qassam expected the occupation in complex ambushes
The Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades announced on Saturday that its resistance fighters successfully destroyed five Zionist tanks. They achieved this by repurposing two 2-ton missiles that the occupation had fired toward civilian areas in Jabalia but had not exploded, resulting in the killing and injury of all members in the tank. The Resistance fighters planted them on the path of advancing occupation vehicles in the Jabalia al-Balad area. As soon as the vehicles arrived at the spot, the rockets were detonated.
Al-Qassam Brigades additionally verified that their Resistance forces set up a tight ambush for four jeeps from the occupation command in the Juhr al-Dik area in the central Gaza Strip. They successfully eliminated a Zionist soldier at point-blank range and targeted two occupation vehicles with two "al-Yassin 105" shells in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood in Gaza City, located in the northern sector of Gaza.
Additionally, Al Mayadeen’s correspondent in Gaza reported that the occupation forces were subjected to a heavy barrage of mortar shells in al-Zaytun neighborhood, south of Gaza. At the same time, al-Qassam Brigades confirmed that its fighters had destroyed the enemy’s field command rooms in the southern axis of Gaza City, with heavy-caliber mortar shells.
The Resistance fighters are engaging in intense battles at close range with the enemy forces penetrating the Juhr al-Dik area, where the fighting has persisted for more than 50 days. The Resistance has previously achieved success in conducting infiltrations and raids against the occupation forces, targeting their vehicles and tanks throughout the prolonged war.
Today, 13 Israeli occupation troops were eliminated in the Gaza Strip over the weekend, the spokesperson for the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) admitted early on Sunday morning.
On Saturday, the Israeli occupation forces acknowledged the death of five additional soldiers in the ongoing battles in the Gaza Strip. Simultaneously, the resistance confirmed its commitment to confront the advance of Israeli forces and resist their incursions into the northern and southern regions, resulting in significant losses in terms of both soldiers and vehicles.
Israeli media described the situation as “very difficult with the presence of many bombs and battles in Gaza,” noting that “in addition to the six dead soldiers today, there are many casualties, and many soldiers were wounded.”
The occupation forces disclosed that among the casualties was a captain, a group leader in the elite Nahal unit, who died today. Additionally, the announcement included information that the remaining four casualties were from Givati and Battalion 6623, and they lost their lives during Friday's confrontations in the southern Gaza Strip.
