A group of fighters in the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon said the group attacked several Israeli sites across the Lebanese borders, including maritime Israeli positions, with guided munition.

Hezbollah issued a statement on Wednesday in which it revealed that Islamic Resistance fighters targeted a gathering of Israeli soldiers, as well as a radar system south of the "Menara" settlement.

"The group of martyrs Mohammad Tahan and Ahmad Qassas struck Wednesday afternoon, 18-10-2023, a gathering of occupation soldiers and a surveillance and reconnaissance system on the hill of Al-Tahyet, south of Al-Menara, using guided missiles, causing several casualties, including fatalities and injuries," the Islamic Resistance said in a statement.

In an earlier attack, Hezbollah said: "The group of martyrs Ibrahim Habib Debek and Ali Adnan Shqeir attacked Wednesday afternoon sites in Jall Al-Alam, Zrariyyat Barracks, and the maritime position located opposite Ras Al-Naqoura with guided missiles and other suitable weaponry."

The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon revealed earlier in the day that its fighters targeted an Israeli Merkava tank at al-Raheb military site.
