In a comprehensive speech addressing the latest regional and international developments, Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, leader of the Yemeni Ansar Allah movement, condemned "Israel’s" ongoing genocidal war in Gaza and reaffirmed Yemen’s continued military support for the Palestinian cause.
He also reflected on the broader threat posed by "Israel" to the region, including Lebanon, Syria, and beyond.
Gaza: A war of extermination
Sayyed al-Houthi reiterated that "Israel" has sustained a war of extermination against Gaza for over 600 days, more than 20 months. "When we look at the tragedy of the Palestinian people, we must understand that it has persisted for 77 years," he said, warning against limiting the scope of attention to recent events alone.
He highlighted the systematic targeting of civilians, including a Palestinian doctor’s nine children, and pointed to deliberate nighttime assaults on displaced families as part of "Israel’s" ideological strategy.
Thousands of children are at risk of starvation, he said, with daily deaths reported due to malnutrition. "The enemy seeks to trap hundreds of thousands in overcrowded zones, forcing them to wait for meager food portions under a criminal distribution mechanism," he explained, accusing "Israel" of blocking the entry of aid trucks while allowing food supplies to rot at border crossings.
Al-Quds under threat
On the occasion of the anniversary of the occupation of al-Quds, Sayyed al-Houthi described it as "one of the most painful memories" for the Muslim Ummah. He criticized the silence of the Muslim world regarding Al-Aqsa Mosque, warning that its destruction is an explicit and ongoing objective of the Israeli occupation.
"Israeli forces storm Al-Aqsa almost daily, attempting to impose a Jewish identity on the site," he warned. He revealed that 27 tunnels have been dug beneath and around the mosque, destabilizing its foundations, especially along the southern wall. These excavations, he said, began in 2005 and were officially inaugurated six years ago in the presence of a US ambassador.
Escalation in support of Palestine
Sayyed al-Houthi also marked the anniversary of Lebanon’s Resistance and Liberation Day, describing it as a "pivotal and significant moment" in the broader struggle against "Israel". He emphasized that "Israel's" continued airstrikes on Syria, along with incursions, kidnappings, and looting, should serve as a warning to all. "What is happening in Syria proves that no one is safe from the Israeli enemy," he said.
Turning to Ansar Allah's own military operations, he confirmed that 14 ballistic and hypersonic missiles, along with drones, were launched this week targeting sites in Yafa, Haifa, Askalan, and Umm al-Rashrash in occupied Palestine.
He affirmed that the Red Sea remains closed to Israeli-linked vessels. "There is no movement of ships associated with the Israeli enemy in the operational area stretching from Bab al-Mandab to the Gulf of Aden and the Arabian Sea," he said.
Arab complicity and regional betrayals
Sayyed al-Houthi issued a renewed call to five Arab and Islamic governments to end their cooperation with "Israel". He noted that a large percentage of ships transporting goods to "Israel" in the Mediterranean are affiliated with these five regimes. "This is deeply regrettable and a betrayal of Islam, contributing to the crimes being committed in Gaza," he stated.
He also criticized the lack of mass mobilization in Arab and Islamic capitals. "There should have been protests and events in every Arab and Islamic country in support of the Palestinian people," he said.
Despite the recent Israeli strike on Sanaa International Airport, Sayyed al-Houthi confirmed that it will not deter Yemen’s operations in solidarity with Palestine. "Any sacrifice made for the sake of God is an honorable one. We are in a position of action and resistance, striking the Israeli enemy," he said.
He added that operations will intensify in the coming period to further pressure "Israel". "We aim to escalate our actions to support the Palestinian people. Our next steps will be more effective and impactful," he vowed.
A call for principled stance
Sayyed al-Houthi concluded by urging the Muslim Ummah not to abandon its responsibilities. "The Zionist Jews are a danger to our security, resources, and nations. Their plans are clear," he said.
He warned of the dangers of the "soft war", which he described as a strategy to weaken the Ummah from within, making it more vulnerable to extermination and domination.
"The fact that 'Israel' is affected and reacting to our actions proves their effectiveness," he added. "This is a great blessing, and it shows that our stance matters."
