The military spokesperson for Hamas' al-Qassam Brigades, Abu Obeida, declared on Saturday that the era of the collapse of the Israeli occupation entity has begun and the illusion of the "invincible Israeli Army" and the "mighty Merkava tank" was shattered by the Palestinian Resistance in Gaza.

"We tell the world today that the olive trees in #Gaza were deeply enrooted in this land way before the ancestors of these newcomers from all over the globe were even born."

In a televised speech, Abu Obeida said the Israeli aggression and its massacres against civilians in the Strip are clear indicators of the entity's weakening position and warned the Israeli occupation military that it will be defeated if it launched a ground offensive operation in Gaza.

"We want to convey to our enemy that we are impatiently awaiting the opportunity to introduce [its forces] to new forms of demise."

Furthermore, the spokesperson pointed out an incident that took place during the first phase of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood, revealing how Resistance fighters were able to inflict heavy damage on an Israeli force in a faceoff confrontation forcing it to retreat.

"We witnessed the exceptional courage of one of our fighters, armed with victory provided by Allah, as he destroyed three enemy vehicles, killing and injuring [Israeli sodliers] inside. The enemy retreated hastily, almost as if fleeing from a full-fledged army."

Abu Obeida underscored that the Resistance in Gaza does not appeal to Arab leaders to mobilize their forces in defense of Gaza's children or sacred sites, affirming that the Resistance already took the responsibility of ending this occupation entity upon itself.

Nevertheless, the spokesperson called on the honorable people of the Ummah to consider this battle as a "decisive battle in the history of the Ummah."

On an exchange deal, Abu Obeida disclosed that the Israeli occupation entity has delayed negotiations regarding the release of Palestinian detainees, noting that over 50 captives have been killed so far due to Israeli strikes.

Reiterating the conditions for the exchange of captives, Abu Obeida said the "price" for the release of Israeli captives, is the immediate release of all Palestinian prisoners held in Israeli occupation prisons. He also declared that the Resistance is ready to carry out the exchange in one go or in several stages.

"If the [Israeli] enemy wants to resolve the prisoners' issue once and for all, we are ready. And if they want to go into the process of dealing with the file separately, we are also ready."

Earlier, sources told Al Mayadeen that ceasefire talks in Gaza were reportedly progressing, which potentially included the release of all children and women held by the occupation, while the Resistance would release foreign non-military captives.

However, the Israeli occupation army announced expanding the scope of its ground operations to move into Gaza starting Friday, as per Israeli army spokesperson Daniel Hagari.

His statement coincided with the entity completely cutting off internet and telecom services access across the Strip, technically isolating and blocking Gaza from the rest of the world while committing its genocide.

After a night of heavy confrontations and violent Israeli bombings, which according to the Palestinian Health Ministry resulted in 53 massacres, the Resistance announced foiling the Israeli ground offensive and infiltration attempts into Gaza.

In its latest report on Saturday, the Health Ministry announced that the number of martyrs in Gaza due to the Israeli aggression has risen to 7,703 so far, including 3,595 children.
