A shooting took place at the "Majdal Oz" settlement near Bayt Fajar, south of Beit Lahm, an Al Mayadeen correspondent reported on Tuesday.

Palestinians all over occupied Palestine are taking up arms against the Israeli occupation through the means available to them, from fireworks to guns and more, in a bid to stand in solidarity with Jenin and underline the unity of the Palestinian fronts despite the attempted divide imposed by the Israeli occupation.

The people of Isawiya, occupied Al-Quds, used fireworks against the Israeli occupation forces during confrontations that broke out in the town.

Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades announced that it was taking up arms against the Israeli occupation forces in all its formations, saying operations would take place at military checkpoints and West Bank settlements for the freedom fighters to avenge their fallen brothers in Jenin and the Jenin refugee camp.

There were demonstrations all over the occupied West Bank and Al-Quds, namely in Beit Lahm, Al-Khalil, Ramallah, Ariha, Nablus, and Qalqilya, with the protestors carrying placards and chanting in support of the people of Jenin.

The Israeli occupation forces are still heavily deployed inside the city of Jenin amid intermittent confrontations in the area, our correspondent added.

Hundreds of residents of the Jenin camp were evacuated to safe places, as the occupation's aggression continued against the camp, Palestinian media reported.

The municipality of Jenin opened a center to receive Palestinians as a result of the continuous aggression and invited them to go to it, where the crews are providing assistance and the basic needs of the city's residents.

The probable escalation by the Israeli occupation comes after Israeli media highlighted that if previous military operations conducted by the IOF had been successful, the current operation would not have been necessary, a clear indication of the fact that the occupation has not been successful in achieving its objectives.

Israeli Channel 12 Arab affairs commentator Ehud Yaari reminded the viewers how previous Israeli military operations failed, including prominent ones such as "Operation Defense Shield" launched by the Israeli occupation in March 2002 in the West Bank. The operation had left 19 Israeli soldiers dead due to the blunders committed by the military establishment.

Yaari was also keen on also pointing out the failure of "Operation Break the Wave" in 2022, noting that it did not prevent the development of military industries in Jenin. If "Break the Wave" had truly succeeded, there would be no justification for carrying out the current operation in Jenin.

Moreover, an informed source told Reuters hours after the operation started that the Israeli occupation forces need an additional 24 hours to complete the operation they started in the occupied West Bank.

The Israeli occupation forces have repeatedly declined to disclose the amount of time the operation will take, only revealing that it would take longer than one day and that the IOF would stay on the ground for as long as necessary.
