The espionage cells working for the United States in Yemen are part of a larger plot to penetrate societies and incite corruption, the leader of the Ansar Allah movement, Sayyed Abdul Malik al-Houthi, said in a statement on Sunday, adding that a new espionage network has been uncovered in Yemen, with details to be revealed soon.

Al-Houthi said the recruitment to treason exists under the umbrella of soft war, revealing that Israeli committees and parties have been instating changes in Arab curricula.

In a speech on the Islamic New Year, Sayyed al-Houthi congratulated the Yemeni people, their defenders, the Islamic Ummah, and the people of Palestine, specifically the Palestinian Resistance fighters, affirming that the beginning of the year brings work toward forming a new government and regulating the judiciary.

Al-Houthi clarified that the formation of a new government has taken time because it requires constant work and follow-up, specifically when purifying state institutions. He explained that certain official establishments are infested with agents working to thwart, cripple, and corrupt the flow of operations.

Stressing the need for national cooperation and understanding of the requirements for the right path and change, while referring to working under complex circumstances and amid aggression and confrontations against the American, British, Israeli, and their Arab and internal collaborators, the Yemeni leader stressed that the war was not solely military, but social, economic, and political as well.

Multi-front failures for the US

Sayyed al-Houthi emphasized that the US was stunned by Yemen's naval and missile tactics, as well as its production, and considered that should learn from it, noting that these tactics overtook the enemy's advanced technology and methods.

He further highlighted that the US tried to scare other countries with its aircraft carriers, and tried to use them to press and instill a sense of self-defeat among these nations. When aircraft carriers arrive in the Gulf, al-Houthi noted, Arab leaders and officials fall back on anything the US does not want.

In light of the operation to support Gaza, US aircraft carriers lost their influence and became targets for the Yemeni Armed Forces, with their missions transforming into escape ones, rather than attacks.

The Yemeni leader considered that the Europeans tried to handle US pressures wisely, with some interfering for defense purposes only and partaking in operations to intercept Yemeni drones without bombing Yemen.

The countries that operated with full wiseness, however, were those that directly coordinated with Yemen rather than being complicit in the Red Sea campaign, which is why their maritime navigation activities were unaffected, with their ships safely sailing through the waters.

Al-Houthi added that the US failed to implicate countries ashore on the Red Sea in backing the Israeli occupation, emphasizing that it also failed to exploit Arab nations and neighboring countries in the aggression against Yemen.

On Saudi complicity with the US, "Israel"

Moreover, Sayyed al-Houthi said the US was still trying to implicate the Saudi regime after its military failure, revealing that Saudi Arabia was threatened with being pushed into hostility, amid several American-Saudi visits relating to the issue.

Economic damage is the Americans' focal tactic, according to al-Houthi, because it affects the entirety of the population, who further said threatening to transfer banks from Sanaa as a pressure tactic was "insane and foolish, and no one in the world thinks this way."

He stressed that the American knows the negative impact of transferring banks on the Yemeni people's living conditions, their currency, and prices in the country and that the Saudi regime took this step in service of "Israel" and obedience to the United States, and there is no other justification for it.

Al-Houthi pointed out that Saudi Arabia did not retract its decision despite the advice and warnings, and after transferring the banks, it moved to disable Sanaa's airport and stop flights despite its limitations and narrow margin, noting that "Israel" the US, and the UK, did not end their incitements and demanded that Saudi Arabia shut the port.

"We will not stand idly by in the face of their absurd moves and watch our people starve and their economic situation collapse," al-Houthi affirmed, stressing that being preoccupied with the direct battle to support Gaza does not mean inaction regarding the issue.

Sayyed Al-Houthi drew out an equation, that "everything would be met with the same", explaining that “banks are banks, Riyadh airport is Sanaa airport, and ports are ports,” placing what Yemen will do within the framework of confronting the aggression and confronting the Americans, stressing that the Yemeni people are patient because they are confident that there is an important battle and because they have preferred the Palestinian people over themselves and their issues.

The Ansar Allah leader also confirmed ongoing discussions in Oman regarding a prisoner exchange with the Saudi-backed Yemeni government in Sanaa, highlighting the efforts and keenness to achieve success and begin the exchange of the second batch, but noted that the coalition does not want to take a step that would anger "Israel".

Al-Houthi recalled that the Saudi regime is detaining Hamas members in its prisons, and criminalizing the movement’s stance against the occupation. He also mentioned the regime’s rejection of a Yemeni offer to release its pilots in exchange for Hamas prisoners.
