Russia MoD unveils tally of 22nd day of spec op in Ukraine
The Russian ministry of Defense tallies the Ukrainian losses since the start of its special military operation in Ukraine.
The Russian armed forces have destroyed nearly 1400 tanks and armored vehicles, 177 UAVs, and 182 Ukrainian aircraft since the beginning of Moscow's special military operation in the country, Russian Defense Ministry spokesperson Igor Konashenkov said Thursday.
Moscow's air force and air defense systems downed a Mi-28 helicopter, a Mi-8 helicopter, 12 UAVs, and three Bayraktar TB-2 drones in Ukraine during the past 24 hours, Konashenkov revealed.

The Russian air force has destroyed 29 Ukrainian targets, including a missile launcher, three command points, six ammunition warehouses, and 14 military equipment depots, the spokesman further added.

He also declared that since its operation kicked off in Ukraine, Russia destroyed 182 aircraft or helicopters, 177 UAVs, 1393 tanks and armored vehicles, 134 missile launchers, 523 Howitzers and mortars, and 1182 military vehicles.

As for Kiev's losses on the ground, Konashenkov revealed that Moscow's aircraft shelled 46 military facilities, including 11 anti-aircraft missile systems, among which were an S-300, a multiple rocket launcher, three command centers, an electronic warfare station, seven munition warehouses, and 18 military equipment depots.
The Russian ministry of defense also released footage on Thursday showing a high-precision weapon strike that destroyed a Ukrainian artillery battery alongside all equipment and arms.

Mariupol evacuations
In addition to announcing Kiev's losses, Moscow's defense ministry noted that some 43,000 people had been evacuated from Mariupol over the past 24 hours as part of a humanitarian operation.

Moscow also said the Ukrainian regime still had more than 6,800 foreign nationals from 21 states held hostage.
