Russia MoD unveils tally of 71st day of war in Ukraine
The Russian forces hit 45 military facilities in Ukraine and shoot down 3 Ukrainian drones and one Bayraktar TB2.
Russian Defense Ministry Spokesperson Igor Konashenkov announced Thursday that Russian fighter jets destroyed in one day 45 Ukrainian military facilities, a number of Ukrainian Army command posts, and dozens of military equipment including drones.
During a press briefing, Konashenkov said the operational-tactical aviation of the Russian Aerospace Forces targeted 45 military facilities in Ukraine, noting that among the damaged facilities were two command posts and 41 areas of the amassment of manpower and military equipment, adding that one missile and artillery depot was destroyed in Lugansk People's Republic.
The Spokesperson added that high-precision air-based missiles have destroyed the command post of the 24th Ukrainian brigade in Loskutovka, two ammunition depots, and 28 areas of the amassment of manpower and military equipment.
Konashenkov added that artillery units destroyed 6 command posts, two ammunition depots, 152 strongholds of Ukrainian nationalist forces, and 38 Ukrainian artillery firing points while eliminating 190 personnel and 43 items of military hardware.
The Russian Spokesperson also confirmed that the Russian air defense shot down 3 Ukrainian drones and one Bayraktar TB2.
