Russia to UK: Explain Truss' "It's done" text after Nord Stream blast
Zakharova demands an explanation from London.
The spokesperson for the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova asserted that the world needs to know about the text message sent from British Prime Minister Liz Truss to US Secretary of State Antony Blinken - "It's done" after the attacks on the Nord Stream pipelines in the Baltic Sea.
Kim Dotcom - the founder of Megaupload, a file-sharing website, tweeted that Truss used her iPhone to send a message to Blinken saying "It's done" after the pipeline exploded. According to him, Russian intelligence knows that the UK was behind the sabotage just by the message being known to the Russian intelligence services.
How do the Russians know that the UK blew up the North Stream pipelines in partnership with the US?

Because @trussliz used her iPhone to send a message to @SecBlinken saying “It’s done” a minute after the pipeline blew up and before anybody else knew?

"I want to know London's answer to the following question: 'Has UK Prime Minister Liz Truss sent a message to US State Secretary Antony Blinken immediately after the explosion of the Nord Stream pipeline saying 'It’s done?'' Zakharova wrote in her Telegram channel, continuing to say that millions around the world are waiting for an answer, and they have the right to know what role the English played in the staging of the attack.
Russia accuses UK Royal Navy
Last week, the Russian Defense Ministry revealed that the UK Royal Navy was involved in the attack on Nord Stream.
In a statement, the ministry said: "According to the obtained data, the UK Navy representatives took part in planning, organizing, and carrying out the terrorist act in the Baltic Sea on September 26, 2022, to blow up the Nord Stream-1 and Nord Stream-2 gas pipelines."
Last month, in addition, a spokesperson for the pipeline's operator, Sergei Kupriyanov, said a NATO mine destroyer was discovered around the Nord Stream 1 natural gas pipeline in November 2015.
Kupriyanov recalled how NATO claimed at the time that the device was lost during exercises conducted in the region. He also highlighted how the device was pulled out by the Swedish armed forces, who then defused it.
