Russia: West turns blind eye to Kiev crimes, supports terrorism
Russia accuses the West of applying double standards and is not interested in conducting an impartial investigation to find the actual perpetrators of war crimes.
The West, turning a blind eye to the numerous war crimes of the Zelensky administration, is thus becoming an accomplice of terrorists, pointed out the head of the Russian National Defense Control Center, Col. Gen. Mikhail Mizintsev, who also leads Russia's humanitarian response coordination headquarters.
At a briefing, Mizintsev considered that “it is completely incomprehensible that Western countries do not pay any attention to the numerous war crimes of the Kiev regime against both residents of the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics and Ukrainian citizens on territories controlled by Kiev."
According to Mizintsev, the "civilized West", applying the policy of double standards, is not at all interested in conducting an impartial investigation and finding the perpetrators, and often simply turns a blind eye to the numerous violations of international conventions by the Ukrainian side, or groundlessly shifts the blame onto Russia.
The Colonel-General indicated that "all this equates the authorities of the 'civilized countries' with accomplices of terrorists, and also gives confidence to Kiev in impunity for any, even the most cynical crimes committed by them against their own citizens, and justifies the cruelty of Ukrainian nationalists towards civilians who do not support their Nazi ideology."
It is noteworthy that the Russian side regularly reports about planned provocations by Ukrainian nationalists and neo-Nazis in the Donetsk and Lugansk people's republics, as well as in Ukrainian territory with the aim of blaming Russia.
A couple of days ago, Mizintsev revealed that Ukrainian neo-Nazis plan to open fire on people who will be evacuated from Kharkov and blame it on Russia by accusing the Russian military of committing crimes against civilians.
In a similar context, Mizintsev also revealed that Ukrainian nationalists have mined a dam of the Mykolaivske reservoir in the city of Marhanets located in the Dnipropetrovsk region and plan to detonate it and blame the Russian armed forces for it. The Colonel-General warned that if the dam is blown up, the city and nearby villages with a total of over 45,000 inhabitants will be flooded.
