The Russian Ministry of Defense has reported that Russian forces have destroyed 3,491 targets of Ukrainian military infrastucture.
According to Russian Defense Ministry spokesperson General Igor Konashenkov, the Russian armed forces advanced 21 kilometers into Ukraine during the past 24 hours.
In addition, Russian soldiers destroyed about 3,500 military targets during the special operation in Ukraine.
"In total, 3,491 objects belonging to Ukrainian military infrastructure were disabled during the operation. Destroyed: 123 unmanned aerial vehicles, 1,127 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 115 multiple launch rocket systems, 423 field artillery guns and mortars, 934 units of special military vehicles", he said.
The Ministry also announced that the Air Force had destroyed a military airfield in the city of Vasilkov, and a major center for radio and electronic intelligence in the Brovory region.
Concurrently, the Ukrainian military announced on its Facebook page on Saturday that Russian forces are advancing in Ukraine, revealing that an operation on the northern side of the capital Kiev has been partially successful.
Two days ago, Konashenkov detailed that the armed forces of Russia destroyed nearly three thousand facilities of the Ukrainian military infrastructure.
Konashenkov stated that on the last day, Russian forces shot down five drones and one Tochka-U missile. Simultaneously, the Donetsk People's Republics (DPR) and Lugansk People's Republics (LPR) people's militias are regaining villages in a counteroffensive.
Yesterday, Volnovakha city was seized by the DPR, according to the spokesperson.
"Units of the Donetsk People's Republic liberated the city of Volnovakha," Konashenkov said, adding that three more settlements were captured.
The DPR soldiers have also continued to encircle Mariupol, according to Konashenkov.
Earlier, Russia's Defense Ministry announced that Russian military forces took complete control of the Ukrainian regional center of Kherson.
On Friday, Konashenkov warned that the man-portable air-defense systems (MANPADS) deployed in Kiev, sent by the West, pose a terrorist threat on civilian aircraft.
