Russian MoD hit 600+ areas of concentration of Ukraine forces
Allied missile troops hit 57 command posts and 42 Ukrainian artillery and mortar units.
The spokesperson of the Russian Defense Ministry, Major General Igor Konashenkov, announced on Sunday that Russia's artillery and missile forces struck more than 600 areas of concentration of Ukrainian army forces.
Konashenkov revealed that Russian missile troops and artillery hit 57 command posts, 618 areas of concentration of Ukrainian forces and military equipment, 42 Ukrainian artillery and mortar units in firing positions, and two batteries of Grad multiple launch rocket systems.
Since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, Russia's armed forces have destroyed 182 aircraft, 128 helicopters, 1,045 unmanned aerial vehicles, 324 anti-aircraft missile systems, 3,297 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 444 multiple rocket launchers, 1,714 field artillery pieces and mortars, as well as 3,245 special military vehicles, Konashenkov said.
Russia's Defense Ministry also said in a statement today that Russian and DPR forces seized the strategic town of Krasny Liman in the Donetsk People's Republic, on the road to two key cities still under Kiev's control.
In a different context, Russian investigators have arrived in Kherson to launch a probe into alleged cases of torture in the region perpetrated by Ukrainian militants, as well as the shelling of the area via Tochka-U missiles, Kirill Stremousov, deputy head of the regional military-civilian administration, said.
It is noteworthy that Russia had captured the entire Kherson region in the south of the country and part of the southeastern Zaporozhye region and established military-civilian administrations there after the start of the war in Ukraine.
