Russia's armed forces destroyed 56 Ukrainian military facilities in the past 24 hrs.
The Spokesperson for Russia's Defense Ministry, Major General Igor Konashenkov, said on Monday that his country's armed forces destroyed the production facilities of an oil refinery and storage facilities in northern Kremenchuk, an industrial city in central Ukraine.
"Long-range high-precision weapons destroyed the facilities for the production of fuel of an oil refinery on the northern outskirts of the city of Kremenchuk, as well as storage facilities with oil products designed to provide military equipment to groups of Ukrainian troops," Konashenkov told reporters.
The Spokesperson also told reporters that Russian aircraft bombed 56 Ukrainian military facilities in the last 24 hours, including command centers and fuel depots. He added that 160 Ukraine armed forces members were killed, and 23 armored vehicles were destroyed.
In related news, DPR Head Denis Pushilin said on Monday that around 400 foreign mercenaries still remain at Azovstal in Mariupol.
"Well, as the information that we have, let's say, has not been updated, the total number is about 400 foreign mercenaries who continue to remain there," he said in an interview with the Rossiya 24 broadcaster.
Russia's FSB thwarts a terrorist attack
Russia's Federal Security Service (FSB) says it arrested on Monday an ISIS supporter who was planning a terrorist attack on public transport infrastructure southwest of Stavropol.
"The Russian Federal Security Service...prevented activities of a supporter of the Islamic State international terrorist organization, banned in Russia, who was planning to commit a terrorist attack on a transport infrastructure facility of the region...The suspect was arrested during preparation for the realization of his criminal design," the FSB said in a statement.
