The residents of South Lebanon showed immense steadfastness in the face of the Israeli aggression, which has targeted five villages, namely Zawtar al-Sharqiya, Taybeh, Tayr Debba, Kfar Dounin, and Aita al-Jabal.
According to Al Mayadeen's correspondent, the people of the south have remained in their home villages and did not succumb to "Israel's" attempts at forcible displacement.
Meanwhile, the mayor of Taybeh issued a statement, confirming that the village's residents are steadfast against all odds and Israeli attacks.
Across all villages, citizens began lifting the rubble immediately after the airstrikes to reopen roads in a clear show of defiance, resistance, and resolve against the Israeli enemy.
From Tayr Debba: Steadfastness trumps Israeli assault
The mayor of Tayr Debba, Farid Naanou, confirmed that the Israeli occupation targeted a civilian home, falsely claiming it was a Hezbollah asset in the village.
According to Naanou, the residents remained in their village and on their lands despite the aggression, further stressing that "There has been no displacement from the town or surrounding areas, contrary to claims by local and foreign media outlets."
"The enemy still does not understand that airstrikes will not terrorize our people; we will remain on our land," he affirmed, noting that efforts to remove the rubble continue.
