Al Mayadeen's correspondent in southern Lebanon reported on Thursday that an Israeli warplane carried out an airstrike targeting the outskirts of the town of Toura in the Tyre district, amid escalating Israeli military activity along Lebanon's southern border.
The attack targeted a saw mill, with reports indicating that the Israeli attack killed one civilian.

According to the correspondent, an Israeli drone also dropped a stun grenade over the Ras al-Naqoura area, marking another incident in a series of violations across the region.
The National News Agency (NNA) noted that villages in the Tyre district have witnessed continuous low-altitude flights by Israeli reconnaissance drones. Similar drone activity has been observed over Beirut's Southern Suburb, extending toward Aramoun and Khalde.
The latest airstrike comes a day after the Lebanese Ministry of Health announced that one person was martyred and another injured in an Israeli drone strike that targeted a vehicle in the town of Burj Rahal, also in the Tyre district.
Ceasefire violations
The Israeli occupation continues to violate Lebanese sovereignty on a daily basis, by land, sea, and air, killing civilians and destroying property, in a blatant breach of the ceasefire agreement established on November 27, 2024.
New data covering the period from November 27, 2024, to November 3, 2025, thoroughly documented thousands of Israeli violations in Lebanon by air, land, and sea, all unfolding under total impunity.
Across southern and eastern Lebanon, Israeli strikes have targeted civilians wherever they are, whether in their homes or even in public spaces.
On several occasions, strikes have also hit construction-related infrastructure, in what appears to be an attempt to obstruct rebuilding, all under the pretext of targeting "Resistance-related" sites.
Meanwhile, the world remains a silent spectator, and the supposed ceasefire monitoring committee stands idly by, doing nothing to hold “Israel” accountable or compel it to respect the ceasefire agreement.
The violations have now exceeded 5,000 and have resulted in more than 900 martyrs and wounded.
