A few hours after the Israeli occupation renewed its savage aggression on the Gaza Strip, the statement of the Yemeni Saada demonstration renewed the continued support and assistance of the Palestinian people until they achieve their full freedom and independence and the demise of the usurping Zionist enemy.

The statement warned the US regime and the Zionist enemy of the consequences of any escalation in occupied Palestine, stressing “Yemen’s principled position that necessitates escalation in support of our brothers in Gaza.”

The demonstration statement underlined support for the strong positions launched by the head of Yemen's Supreme Political Council, Mahdi al-Mashat, on Independence Day in support of the Palestinian people.

On Wednesday, al-Mashat warned that any American escalation "will not dissuade Yemen from its principled positions toward Palestine."

On Thursday, the spokesperson for the Yemeni Armed Forces, Brigadier General Yahya Saree announced that the Yemeni Armed Forces reiterates its readiness to resume its operations against the Israeli occupation, in case the latter resumes its aggression on the Gaza Strip.

Saree stressed that Yemen's military will not hesitate to expand the scope of its confrontation against the Israeli occupation "to encompass targets ("Israel") does not anticipate, on land and in the sea."

The Brigadier General confirmed that the Yemeni Armed Forces will cease their attacks on Israeli targets once "Israel" ends its aggression on the Gaza Strip. Israeli-owned vessels will not be allowed to sail in and out of the Red Sea, he made it clear.

The spokesperson pointed out that the Yemeni Armed Forces' actions come in line with the guidelines set by Ansar Allah leader Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi and the demands of the Yemeni people and the free people of the Arab and Islamic Ummahs to support the Palestinian people and their Resistance.

Israeli media have repeatedly acknowledged that Yemen poses a strategic threat to "Israel" due to its geographic location.

The former head of the Israeli "National Security" Council, Giora Eiland, suggested that "Israel's" problem with the Yemenis is their location in the narrow neck of the Red Sea in its southern part, pointing out that this is a bigger problem than missiles.

Eiland confirmed that the bigger problem is what will happen if the Yemenis decide to stop every Israeli ship, questioning the possibility of continuing sailing from the Red Sea to "Eilat".

Earlier, Deputy Prime Minister of the Sanaa Government for Defense and Security Affairs, Jalal Al-Ruwaishan, touched on the truce in Gaza, saying that the truce only concerns Gaza, noting that the spokesperson for the Yemeni Armed Forces announced that Sanaa's decision to block the Red Sea for the enemy is still valid.
