Saeid: Heavy Price Will be Paid by Those who Abuse the People
Tunisian President Kais Saeid reiterates the need to hold "all those involved in corruption accountable."
During his meeting with Prime Minister delegate Najla Bouden on Monday, Tunisian President Kais Saied accused some parties of robbing the will of the Tunisian people through a secret dictatorship seeking to dominate the state.
Saeid stressed that those who starved the Tunisian people would be dealt with harshly.
On the subject of demonstrations in support of Saeid, he boasted that an approximate 1.8 million people supported him without bribery.
Bouden called for focusing tasks away from opportunists during the formation of the cabinet, stressing that those involved in corruption will be held accountable until the Tunisian people regain their rights.
The Tunisian president had issued a decision to dismiss Prime Minister Hisham Al-Mashishi and freeze parliament.
Last Wednesday, Najla Bouden was commissioned by Saeid to form a new government as soon as possible.
