The commander of the Iranian Revolution Guard Corps, Major General Hossein Salami, asserted that Iran possesses a significant level of political and diplomatic strength on the global stage and that the passing of President Ebrahim Raisi and his comrades would not diminish Iran's dignity and eminence.

In his speech during the funeral of Major General Mehdi Mousavi, the commander of the President's Protection Unit, in Rey, south of Tehran, Salami stated that former President Raisi bore the political responsibility of operation "True Promise".

Salami noted that Iran's enemies had mobilized all their economic, media, and intelligence resources to threaten Iran, highlighting that all their attempts had ultimately failed.
