Salami: Raisi bore the political responsibility for 'True Promise'
The commander of the Iranian Revolution Guard Corps, Major General Hossein Salami, affirmed that the passing of former President Ebrahim Raisi and his comrades has only amplified Iran's greatness and glory, reinforcing its dignified stance on the global stage, despite foreign adversity.
The commander of the Iranian Revolution Guard Corps, Major General Hossein Salami, asserted that Iran possesses a significant level of political and diplomatic strength on the global stage and that the passing of President Ebrahim Raisi and his comrades would not diminish Iran's dignity and eminence.
In his speech during the funeral of Major General Mehdi Mousavi, the commander of the President's Protection Unit, in Rey, south of Tehran, Salami stated that former President Raisi bore the political responsibility of operation "True Promise".
Salami noted that Iran's enemies had mobilized all their economic, media, and intelligence resources to threaten Iran, highlighting that all their attempts had ultimately failed.
Iranian state media confirmed that Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and his accompanying officials passed away following the crash of their helicopter.

Iran will continue defending Palestine, Bagheri Kani affirms
Iran's Acting Foreign Minister, Ali Bagheri Kani, affirmed that what the nation has seen, from official international presence in its top officials' funeral ceremony, was "the result of the active policies taken by martyr Hossein Amir-Abdollahian."
On the sidelines of the procession on Thursday, Bagheri Kani said that Iran's policy of heading toward neighboring and regional countries was a "primary principle", emphasizing that the country would proceed with it.
