Commander-in-Chief of Iran's Islamic Revolution Guard Corps, Major General Hossein Salami, in a speech at the al-Wilayah Congress, emphasized that Iran has proven that the world is much bigger than America, and the latter is much smaller than the world, stressing that "there is no force capable of stopping the advancement of Iran and its people."

Salami said that Iran has "strongly thwarted the plan to isolate the country," noting that no one today sees Iran as an isolated country, as it cooperates with all world powers, emphasizing that this cooperation excludes the United States and the Israeli occupation.

The chief also reaffirmed the Islamic Republic of Iran's position of not recognizing the Israeli occupation as a country.

Salami clarified that Iran's enemies claimed, during the recent elections, that the Iranian people turned their backs on the regime. He explained that within less than a week, the people returned to the scene, increasing voter turnout from 40% to 50%. He emphasized that "the people once again disrupted and thwarted the calculations of the enemies."

It's worth noting that the number of voters in the second round of elections exceeded 30 million people, approaching a participation rate of 50%. In the first round, approximately 24 million voters participated, representing a 40% turnout, indicating a 10% increase in participation in the second round.

Iran's support for Resistance unrelenting: Pezeshkian to S. Nasrallah

Iran's president-elect Masoud Pezeshkian sent the leader of the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, a message asserting the Islamic Republic's support for the Resistance and the people of the region against the illegitimate Israeli occupation.

The roots of Iran’s support for the Resistance lie in the basic policies of the regime and the directives of the Leader, and it will continue strongly, Pezeshkian affirmed in his message.

The Iranian President further said he was certain that the Resistance movements in the region would not allow the Israeli occupation to proceed with its war tactics and aggression against the people of Palestine and those of the region.

He additionally thanked Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, extending wishes for more success, glory, happiness, and progress for the Lebanese people, as well as divine victory for the Islamic Resistance fighters.
