The Yemeni Army and Popular Committees are making progress in the border region of Jizan, south Saudi Arabia, Yemeni sources told Al Mayadeen on Friday.
"The Yemeni army and Popular Committee have captured several sites in the al-Huthirah region, Jizan," the sources reported.
Sources also confirmed that more than 30 Sudanese fighters were killed and injured following an attack by the army and popular committees on their positions.
Earlier today, it was reported that the attack left 10 fighters killed and at least 17 others injured.
Hadi's forces suffered massive losses in area 5 amid confrontations in the al-Huthirah region.
