Sanaa PM: Saudi Arabia, UAE exploiting Yemeni islands, wealth
Sanaa government PM voices concerns about Saudi and Emirati ambitions in Yemeni islands, and says that Yemen, with its record of resistance, is capable of kicking the occupiers out.
The Prime Minister of Sanaa, Abdel Aziz Bin Habtoor, said on Saturday that Saudi Arabia and the UAE are "exploiting Yemen's islands and coasts for the interests of the Zionists, the Americans and the British," adding that "the Saudi and Emirati occupation states are working in every way to prolong their presence in order to plunder Yemen's wealth and capabilities."
Bin Habtoor indicated during his meeting today with the governors of Aden, Tariq Salam and Al-Mahra Al-Qutbi Ali Hussein Al-Farajy, that "the deteriorating conditions in the governorates under the Saudi-Emirati occupation are the result of the efforts of the two occupying countries to perpetuate the approach of mayhem, devastation, and destruction."
Moreover, he stressed that "Yemen, with its honorable record of struggle and history of resistance to invaders and occupiers, is capable of expelling the new occupiers and ensuring its security, sovereignty, and territorial integrity."

The meeting focused on the situation in the occupied southern governorates, in light of the continuing disagreement and conflict between the "mercenaries and collaborators" with their various factions, and their impact on the security and public services situation in the country. The repercussions on citizens have been disastrous, he maintained.
Bin Habtoor referred to "the collaborators factions’ attempt to cover up their existing disagreements, by fabricating security problems, the latest of which was the burning of a number of oil derivatives required for electricity in Aden to cover up the theft of quantities designated for operating electricity and the service sector in general."
Lastly, the PM pointed out to "the recruitment of military forces, which clearly indicates the imminence of an upcoming armed conflict, and the underway preparations for more hostilities against the Yemeni people, following the dictations of the coalition of aggression."
