Yemen: March against "oppression" stresses support for Palestine
The leader of Yemen's Ansar Allah says the Israeli occupation exploited the US-Western campaign to end the Palestinian cause.
Yemeni cities, including Saada and Sanaa, witnessed a popular march today on the yearly anniversary of the march against "oppressors" established by Martyr Hussein Badreddin al-Houthi.

A statement by the march's organizers said that Yemen is moving forward with its confrontation against the US until it emerges victorious, and so long as the aggression refuses to submit to right.
The organizers said in the statement that they will adhere to the Palestinian cause, and will remain prepared to fight in the greater battle, side by side with the Axis of Resistance.
They further added that it is the nation's duty to fight in defense of its Islamic identity and sanctities, further declaring that the US and "Israel" are the nation's enemies and that it is the nation's religious duty to announce complete mobilization against them.
Al-Houthi: The Israeli occupation exploited the US-Western attack
The leader of Yemen's Ansar Allah movement Abdel Malek Al-Houthi announced that the Israeli occupation made use of the US-Western attack to completely eliminate the Palestinian cause.
During his speech for the march, Al-Houthi asserted that the late martyr Hussein Al-Houthi expressed his confrontation of the aggression against the Islamic nation through this march, adding that the Israelis did not want anything to impede the US-Israeli movement in the region, and for the Islamic field to be always ripe for sowing strife.
Al-Houthi noted that the US used 9/11 as an excuse to target the nation, noting that less than one year after the march was announced, it drew the ire of the US embassy in Sanaa, which pushed the ruling power at the time to face it. He also pointed out that the US ambassador used to follow up on the arrests the authorities at the time made for anyone that sympathized with the march, despite this being a peaceful and legal movement.
The leader of the Ansar Allah said that after the arrests, the US and Yemen's authorities chose to target Martyr Hussein Al-Houthi militarily, prompting the first war. The US also pushed for all the six wars and provided Yemen's authorities political cover as they committed the most heinous crimes.
Those that stood with the US, Al-Houthi said, failed against Hussein Al-Houthi and failed to silence him, adding that the authority did not in turn receive what it had hoped for by cooperating with the US and "Israel".
He clarified that many Arab regimes are leaning toward following "Israel" and establishing economic partnerships with it and that this "traitorous" movement is ignoring the daily crimes that take place in Palestine along with the threats against the Holy Al-Aqsa Mosque. This movement is in fact adopting the same position as the Israelis by siding against the freedom fighters in Palestine and Lebanon and is actively working to tarnish their image in the media.
