The Head of the Prisoners’ Committee in Sanaa Abdul Qadir Al-Mortada confirmed today the failure of Saudi Arabia to submit the prisoner exchange lists to the United Nations.
Al-Murtada said in a tweet: "Today was the date the lists of prisoners were supposed to be released, according to the agreement, and we were ready for it and informed the United Nations of our readiness, but unfortunately they told us that the other party was not ready, and they asked for a week's notice. We hope that the agreement will be adhered to as is."

On March 27, the Head of the Prisoners’ Committee in Sanaa, Abdul Qadir Al-Murtada had already announced reaching an agreement with the Saudi coalition on a prisoner exchange deal through the United Nations to release 2,223 prisoners.
Al-Murtada pointed out on his Twitter account that the exchange will include 1,400 from the Yemeni army and popular committees, which will be exchanged for 823 from the other side, including 16 Saudis. The exchange deal will include the release of Nasser Mansour Hadi and Mahmoud Al-Subaihi.
Lists of the prisoners' names were scheduled to be exchanged today.
