The Yemeni Armed Forces announced Friday that they launched a precision military operation targeting Lod Airport in occupied Yafa using a Palestine-2 hypersonic ballistic missile, as part of their continued response to the Israeli occupation’s ongoing genocide in the Gaza Strip.

Brigadier General Yahya Saree, spokesperson for the Yemeni Armed Forces, confirmed the operation successfully hit its intended target, forcing over 4 million Israeli settlers into bomb shelters and causing flight operations at the airport to come to a halt.

Saree emphasized that the strike represents a clear message of solidarity with the Palestinian people and their resistance fighters, reiterating that Yemen's position remains firm in supporting the oppressed population of Gaza.

He also warned that the Yemeni Armed Forces remain on high alert and are closely monitoring the occupation's movements, prepared to confront and neutralize any hostile efforts to shut down Yemen’s support front. Saree noted that similar previous attempts had already been thwarted.

"The Yemeni operations will not stop until the aggression ends and the siege on Gaza is lifted," Saree said, reinforcing Yemen’s commitment to the Palestinian cause.

Earlier in the day, the Israeli occupation forces confirmed the launch of a missile from Yemeni territory, triggering air raid sirens across multiple areas. According to Israeli Army Radio, this marks the 15th missile launched from Yemen in the past month, averaging one every two days.

Since the resumption of the war on Gaza, Ansar Allah has launched 67 ballistic missiles and 18 drones toward the occupied territories, according to Israeli media reports, intensifying regional pressure on "Israel" as it faces mounting backlash over its war on Gaza.

Yemen launches drone strikes against 'Israel'

The spokesperson for the Yemeni Armed Forces (YAF), Brigadier General Yahya Saree, announced on Wednesday that Yemeni forces had carried out three new drone operations targeting Israeli positions in response to the ongoing Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.

According to Saree, the operations involved five drones and successfully completed their missions against three separate targets inside Israeli-occupied territory.

"The first operation targeted a sensitive site in the occupied city of Yafa (Tel Aviv) with two drones," Saree said in a statement.

"The second operation targeted a military site in the occupied city of Askalan using two additional drones, while the third targeted a military position in the occupied al-Naqab with a single drone."

He added that all operations "successfully achieved their goals, by the grace of God."

Saree emphasized that the attacks came “in victory for the oppressed Palestinian people and their brave fighters,” and “in response to the genocide being committed by the Zionist enemy in Gaza.”

He further called on the Arab and Islamic nations to fulfill their "religious, moral, and humanitarian duty" toward the people of Gaza, urging mass protests in the coming days to reject the ongoing Israeli onslaught and to demand an end to the siege, starvation, and deprivation imposed on the besieged enclave.

“Our operations will not stop until the aggression on Gaza ends and the blockade is lifted,” Saree concluded.
