Yemenis held yet another million-strong demonstration, condemning Arab inaction toward Gaza while reaffirming Yemeni support for Palestine, while denouncing "Israel's" siege and starvation of Palestinians amid calls for confrontation.
The Yemeni Marches Committee declared that the silence and inaction of Arab leaders have emboldened "Israel" to continue and escalate its crimes.
The statement also welcomed and praised the announcement by the Yemeni leader Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi that further retaliatory measures against "Israel" are being considered, expressing full trust that Sanaa's leadership will not spare an effort to support and defend Gaza.
It also asserted that Yemen is prepared to face any repercussions resulting from the battle against "Israel" and support for Gaza and its people, emphasizing commitment to the popular and official stance, supportive of Palestine and Gaza as part of their religious duty.
Arab regimes stand as geographical barriers between Yemen and 'Israel'
In the statement, the Yemenis declared that they took to the streets with hearts filled with anguish over the suffering of their brothers and sisters in Gaza, who are enduring horrific crimes of mass killing, terror, and deliberate starvation.
Furthermore, they condemned the Arab regimes that stand as geographical barriers between Yemen and Gaza, preventing them from coming to Gaza's defense and engaging in confrontation with the "Zionist occupiers".
They also expressed profound anguish over the Muslim world's silence and inaction as it witnesses a besieged Palestinian people being systematically starved and deprived of basic sustenance. The statement condemned how surrounding nations remain immobilized despite having the means to intervene.
Yemen remains steadfast in supporting Gaza
On July 24, Yemeni leader Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi once again called on nations situated between Yemen and Palestine to "open transit routes for our people," enabling mass mobilization of hundreds of thousands of Yemenis in solidarity with Gaza.
Yemen continues to launch operations against "Israel" in support of Gaza, most recently launching a precise military operation targeting the Ben Gurion Airport with a Palestine-2 ballistic missile on July 22, forcing millions of settlers into shelters and paralyzing activity at the airport.
Brigadier General Yehya Saree emphasized at the time that the operation was carried out in solidarity with the Palestinian people and their Resistance, directly countering the Israeli occupation's genocidal campaign in Gaza and reaffirming that such military operations would continue unabated until the aggression ceases and the siege is fully lifted.
