The President of Yemen’s Supreme Political Council, Mahdi al-Mashat, on Tuesday congratulated Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian on what he described as the “major victory” achieved by the Islamic Republic of Iran, its people, military, and leadership over both Israeli and American adversaries.

Al-Mashat stated that “this victory thwarted the schemes of the Israeli and American enemies and represents a legitimate defense of Iran’s sovereignty and national security.”

Iran inflicted humiliating defeat on 'Israel'

He also praised Iran’s capabilities in the confrontation, stressing that “the Islamic Republic inflicted a humiliating defeat on the criminal Zionist enemy and delivered a lesson it has not experienced since its implantation in the region.”

The Yemeni leader added that Iran succeeded in preserving its right to “invest in a peaceful nuclear program and its defensive capabilities.”

Breaking US-Israeli domination scheme

Al-Mashat emphasized that the war aimed to secure Israeli military superiority, noting that “Iran shattered the desperate attempt to impose hegemony over the Arab and Islamic region and to grant the Zionist entity military dominance.”

He also pointed out that “the Islamic Republic emerged from the war victorious after regional mediation requested by the United States, the same party that sponsored, planned, and participated in the aggression.”

He concluded by stressing that “this victory serves as a deterrent to the forces of evil and domination in the world,” adding that “the aggressive war on Iran was prompted by its honorable positions and unwavering support for the cause of the Ummah and the free world, which is the Palestinian cause.”

Ansar Allah praises Iran’s resistance in 12-day war against 'Israel'

Earlier, the spokesperson for Yemen’s Ansar Allah movement, Mohammed Abdulsalam, praised Iran for engaging in a 12-day war against Israeli aggression with strength, determination, and significant sacrifices.

In a post on the X platform, Abdulsalam affirmed that these sacrifices are the price of Iran's will for independence and freedom, rooted in its principled stance on the Palestinian cause.

The Yemeni official indicated that Iran was the first among Islamic nations to confront a heavily armed enemy with its own domestic arsenal, pointing out that the battle was not only with “Israel” as an advanced US outpost but also with the United States and a lineup of supporting Western countries.

Abdulsalam stressed that Iran has upheld its peaceful nuclear rights and principled positions, which he said demonstrates the "failure of the enemy to achieve its declared objectives."

Aggression has not deterred Tehran

Targeting Iranian scientific and military personnel and bombing facilities has not deterred Tehran from maintaining its legitimate rights, according to the Ansar Allah spokesperson.

He noted that Iran’s "heroic resistance" has given the region renewed hope in the possibility of standing up to aggression and rejecting submission, underlining that the confrontation sends a powerful message: the violation of the region will not go unpunished, and that "Israel" is incapable of waging any war without US support.

The Yemeni official further asserted that the protection of regional sovereignty and the restoration of its status depend on abandoning internal discord, adopting a unified position, and recognizing that all regional countries are targeted by an entity used by Washington as a blunt instrument to strike at any state that aspires to power and independence.
