The Yemeni Armed Forces announced on Thursday that they carried out a qualitative military operation against several Israeli targets in occupied Palestine using a multi-head Palestine-2 hypersonic ballistic missile.
In a statement delivered by spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Saree, the forces confirmed that the strike achieved its objectives, including halting movement at Lod Airport (Ben Gurion).
Sirens echoed across Tel Aviv and several other settlements in central occupied Palestine on Thursday evening following a missile launch from Yemen.
According to "Israel's" missile warning system, sirens were activated in multiple areas, including Tel Aviv–Yafa, Ramat Gan, al-Lydd, Beit Shemesh, Askalan, Ramla, and Beer al-Sabe’, as "Israel" detected a projectile heading toward occupied territories.
Only hours before the missile sirens in Tel Aviv, the Yemeni capital of Sanaa came under heavy aerial assault from Israeli fighter jets. Al Mayadeen’s correspondent in Yemen reported that Israeli warplanes launched strikes on southern Sanaa, targeting civilian infrastructure.
Yemeni air defenses successfully intercepted several Israeli aircraft, forcing them to retreat. However, naval strikes were also deployed in what military sources described as a large-scale and coordinated operation by "Israel."
Warning to companies and ships
The Yemeni Armed Forces further called on all companies and ships operating in the theater of operations to clearly identify themselves, warning that failure to do so would expose them to targeting and full responsibility for the consequences.
