Saree: There will be major consequences for Emirati escalation
Yemeni Armed Forces spokesman, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, confirms that hundreds of Emiratis have been killed and wounded in Shabwa.
The spokesman for the Yemeni armed forces, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, confirmed that "more than 515 people were killed, including leaders, and the number of wounded exceeded 850, and more than 200 UAE mercenaries were missing in Shabwa, according to intelligence sources."
Saree also divulged that the material losses for the Emirates amounted to more than 102 armored vehicles in addition to the destruction of numerous large and advanced guns.
The Brigadier General emphasized that the Yemeni forces are fully ready to defend the country and the people and confront the escalation of the Emirati enemy until they achieve victory.
He noted that "the consequences of the Emirati escalation will be major and they must bear the consequences of their actions."
This coincides with the launch of 72 air raids by the Saudi-led coalition aircraft on Marib, Al-Bayda, Al-Jawf, and Shabwa in the last 24 hours.
Saree announced on Tuesday the downing of a UAE spy plane over the Ain district in Shabwa governorate.
Saree said that the armed plane was shot down using locally-manufactured surface-to-air missiles.
Last Wednesday, the Yemeni armed forces shot down an armed spy plane as it carried out hostile acts in the airspace of the Usaylan district of Shabwa governorate in Yemen.
