On Tuesday, the Yemeni armed forces of the Sanaa government spokesman Yahya Saree revealed details of the second phase of Operation Rabi al-Nasr (Victory Spring) which saw successful military operations in the governorates of Al-Bayda, Shabwah, and Marib.

Saree announced the success of the Yemeni Army and Popular Committees in liberating the entire province of Al-Bayda "with the continuous support of the tribes of the governorate," adding that the army liberated all districts of Marib, except for the valley and the city of Marib.

In detail, he explained that the Yemeni Army and Popular Committees were continuing to march towards the districts of al-Juba and Jabal Murad through "multiple pathways," adding that "our troops inflicted significant casualties on the members of the aggression."

Air defense succeeded in carrying out 86 interception operations, while the missile force carried out 47. "The Air Force carried out a total of 141 targeting operations against the enemy forces, including 13 operations in the Saudi territories."

In its second phase, Operation Rabi al-Nasr left hundreds of mercenaries dead and injured, according to Saree, who stressed the constant concern for the blood of Yemenis being shed, even those which he referred to as "mercenaries and traitors."

Addressing Saudi Arabia, Saree declared: "Your war, I will not call it futile, but criminal and aggressive, will backfire on you!"

The Yemeni Army and Popular Committees revealed footage depicting the events of the second phase of the operation in which they stormed positions of the Saudi coalition forces, as well as a large number of Saudi coalition members fleeing.

The footage also depicted a store of weapons and missiles left behind by the coalition forces after they fled, with US flags stamped on the boxes, indicating the origin of the munition.

On October 17, the Yemeni Army and Popular Committees announced they succeeded in implementing Operation Rabi al-Nasr.

At the time, Saree explained that the operation led to the liberation of large areas of several provinces, and inflicted heavy losses on the enemy.
