Saudi writer celebrating visit to "Israel" slammed by activists
Najat AlSaeed, Saudi writer, announces her visit to "Israel" on Twitter prompting a swift and angry response from activists.
Saudi writer and researcher celebrated Sunday, her "visit to 'Israel'" in an announcement on her Twitter page, saying it made her "feel home."

Najat AlSaeed is a writer in Al-Hurra channel, she is a professor at The American University in the Emirates, and she has recently started writing for the Israeli daily "Israel" Hayom.
AlSaeed's visit prompted a widespread denouncement from activists in the Arab world, notably Saudis.
One tweet read, "You only represent yourself, and be sure that all Saudis hate 'Israel' that occupies the land of Palestine."
Another activist questioned whether or not Saudi Arabia's public prosecution is going to take legal action against her, at a time when Saudi law prohibits travel to the occupied Palestinian territories.
