Yemen’s Ansar Allah leader, Sayyed Abdul-Malik Sayyed al-Houthi, affirmed on Thursday that Yemen’s position on the regional level remains unified, stable, and militarily active in support of Palestine, despite ongoing US airstrikes targeting the country.

In a televised speech, Sayyed al-Houthi stated, "The Yemeni front is strong and inspiring—it stands as a model for others. Our people, despite enduring hardship, have risen to fulfill their faith-based and jihadi duty, which has deeply angered the American and Israeli enemies."

He stressed that Yemen’s stance, both official and popular, continues to support what he referred to as the "promised liberation and sacred struggle."

US escalation failing to halt Yemeni operations

Sayyed al-Houthi accused the United States of escalating its military campaign in Yemen in a bid to pressure the country's resistance stance. He reported that US forces carried out over 220 airstrikes this week using stealth fighters and F-18 jets, as well as more than 900 air and naval attacks over the past month.

Despite these attacks, Sayyed al-Houthi claimed the strikes have failed to deter Yemen’s operations in support of Palestine. "The American aggression has not succeeded in securing Israeli vessels. The Red Sea and the Arabian Sea remain completely closed to Israeli shipping," he said.

He asserted that the ongoing blockade on Israeli maritime activity is a clear indicator of the failure of American military efforts.

Hypersonic strikes on 'Israel'

Highlighting recent military actions, Sayyed al-Houthi said Yemen’s armed forces conducted missile and drone operations targeting Israeli-occupied cities, including Yaffa and Askalan, during Passover.

"These were symbolic ‘holiday gifts’ for the criminal enemy," he remarked, referencing the launch of ballistic and hypersonic missiles, including the Zolfaghar variant.

He added that Yemen’s forces also engaged US assets, including targeting the aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman, which he said had been forced into a purely defensive posture.

"The deployment of additional US carriers only confirms Truman’s failure to achieve American goals. It shows that Yemen’s position is powerful and influential," he stressed.

78 operations in one month

According to Sayyed al-Houthi, the Yemeni Armed Forces carried out 78 operations over the past month, involving 171 ballistic, cruise, hypersonic missiles, and drones. These included:

33 operations against US naval vessels with 122 projectiles

4 strikes using Quds missiles on surveillance, refueling, and combat aircraft in the Red Sea

He noted the downing of a 19th MQ-9 Reaper drone, calling it a strategic achievement given the US reliance on such aircraft.

US strikes strengthen Yemen’s capabilities

Sayyed al-Houthi asserted that rather than weakening Yemen’s military, US attacks have enhanced its defense industry. "Every act of aggression only strengthens our military capability and increases our determination," he said.

He cited US President Donald Trump’s acknowledgment of Yemen’s missile capabilities and pointed to US officials’ own frustration over the ineffectiveness of high-cost bombardments.

"The world sees that Yemen stands for a just cause—supporting the Palestinian people. The greater the American failure, the more significant and honorable our victory will be," he concluded.

US, 'Israel' seek to pressure Palestinians

Sayyed al-Houthi accused the Israeli occupation and the United States of seeking to pressure the Palestinian people into releasing captives without honoring prior agreements on prisoner exchanges.

In a televised speech, Sayyed al-Houthi stated that the Israeli regime, in coordination with the US, is attempting to bypass the prisoner issue and secure the release of captives without a negotiated exchange. "The release of Israeli captives is not a priority for the Israeli government, despite repeated appeals from their families," he said.

Sayyed al-Houthi emphasized that Hamas’s demands represent the minimum humanitarian rights of the Palestinian people, but accused both Washington and Tel Aviv of disregarding those needs.

Gaza suffering under continued bombardment, siege

Commenting on the humanitarian situation in Gaza, Sayyed al-Houthi said that most of the population has been displaced amid the ongoing Israeli assault, which he described as being carried out with full US support. "The Israeli enemy continues its brutal aggression and drops American bombs on displaced civilians," he stated.

He also condemned the continued targeting of healthcare facilities, referencing the bombing of the Baptist Hospital, and highlighted a growing famine in the enclave caused by a blockade on food shipments that has lasted over six weeks. "The Israeli regime is committing all forms of genocide in Gaza," he said.

Sayyed al-Houthi warned that the Israeli attempt to fully occupy the city of Rafah threatens Egypt’s national security and violates the terms of the Israeli occupation and Egypt's peace agreement.

Palestinian cause cannot to be ignored

Speaking on Palestinian Prisoner Day, Sayyed al-Houthi highlighted the suffering of thousands of Palestinian detainees in Israeli prisons. "The file of Palestinian prisoners cannot be erased or ignored," he said, adding that legitimate exchange deals should be pursued.

He accused the Israeli occupation of carrying out systematic kidnappings across the West Bank and Gaza and subjecting detainees to medical neglect and denial of basic rights. According to Sayyed al-Houthi, these acts are part of a broader campaign aimed at forcibly displacing the Palestinian people.

Addressing the issue of Israeli settler incursions into al-Aqsa Mosque, Sayyed al-Houthi described them as "grave crimes," stressing that silence from the Muslim world amounts to "a major failure in protecting Islamic sanctities."

He criticized the absence of any meaningful Arab action, noting that the US has ramped up weapons shipments to the Israeli occupation "to support the ongoing genocide against the Palestinian people."

Threat of Israeli expansion

Turning to developments in Lebanon, Sayyed al-Houthi said that "Israel" continues to violate its agreements with Beirut with American encouragement and support. "The Zionist enemy has clear ambitions in Lebanon and sees it as part of the Greater Israel project," he warned.

He accused the Israeli regime of seeking full control over Lebanon, including the Litani River, and labeled the regime a constant threat to Lebanese sovereignty.

Sayyed al-Houthi praised Hezbollah’s role in resisting Israeli aggression, describing the group’s victories as "unprecedented in the history of Muslim and Arab resistance." He called on all Lebanese citizens and officials to support the resistance, framing it as a national necessity.

"If the path of resistance is abandoned, Lebanon would face serious dangers and lose its independence," he said, rejecting calls to disarm Hezbollah and urging pressure on the Israeli occupation to fully comply with its withdrawal obligations.

In conclusion, Sayyed al-Houthi stressed that Israeli actions in Palestine, Lebanon, and Syria highlight the urgent need for regional nations to build deterrent and protective capabilities. He credited Palestinian resistance movements with preventing the complete displacement of the Palestinian population and the total elimination of their cause.
