Leader of Yemen’s Ansar Allah movement, Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, declared on Tuesday evening that "jihad was only ordained to confront tyranny, crime, and the injustices committed by the Israeli occupation." He stressed that "the Yemeni armed forces will resume their escalation at the highest levels against the occupation," directly addressing the Palestinian people: "You are not alone."

Sayyed Al-Houthi underscored that "there is no alternative to bearing responsibility in confronting and resisting the Israeli enemy," warning that "if Israel succeeds in eliminating the Palestinian cause, it will expand its crimes to other countries without any restraint."

The Ansar Allah leader stated that "the Israeli occupation has resumed its aggression through the genocide of the Palestinian people in Gaza," accusing it of "reneging on the ceasefire agreement, as well as the commitments to lift the siege and end starvation." He noted that "over two weeks ago, Israel had already violated its pledge by preventing humanitarian aid from entering Gaza."

He further asserted that "the resumption of war came with American consultation," adding that "yesterday, Israel massacred hundreds of Palestinians, most of whom were children and women."

'No considerations, no red lines'

Sayyed al-Houthi emphasized that "there are no longer any red lines," warning that "the occupation has shown no regard for any considerations as it carries out genocide, total destruction, and horrific killings."

Al-Houthi addressed the ongoing negotiations, stating that "Hamas cannot be coerced into making concessions regarding the second phase of the agreement in order to prevent war." He stressed that "Hamas cannot be pressured into relinquishing the prisoner exchange card, only for Israel to later resume its aggression."

He accused "Israel" of "shamelessly pressuring Hamas to complete the exchange outside the agreed framework and without moving to the second phase," adding that "Israel is evading its obligations to end its aggression on Gaza and complete its withdrawal from the Strip."

Inaction emboldening 'Israel'

The Yemeni leader criticized the lack of action from Arab and Islamic countries, stating that "the responsibility is immense in the face of what is happening before the eyes and ears of the entire Ummah." He underlined that the Israeli occupation felt emboldened because "it is confident that there will be no serious action from the Arab side, not even at the minimum level."

"Where is the movement of the [Islamic] nation across all fields—to struggle in the path of God militarily, politically, economically, and in the media? In the face of Western support for the enemy, why don’t Arab and Islamic countries supply the mujahideen in Palestine with weapons?" he asked.

Al-Houthi urged for "a broad media campaign to expose Israel’s crimes and support the Palestinian people," further arguing that "Israel benefits economically from Turkey, Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE, and it is the duty of these countries to impose an economic boycott." He decried the normalization of ties with the Israeli regime, stating that "it is a disgrace and a crime for any Arab country to maintain positive relations with an entity as hateful and criminal as the Zionist regime."

Reports of Yemeni operation

Ansar Allah launched a ballistic missile toward the occupied Palestinian territories on Tuesday evening, setting off rocket sirens across the northern al-Naqab, beginning at 6:56 p.m.

The Israeli occupation forces claimed they had intercepted the missile before it entered Israeli airspace.

Sirens were activated in Beer al-Sabe, Merhav Am, Nevatim, and Ravivim, among other locations.

The Israeli emergency response service, Magen David Adom, reported receiving calls regarding individuals experiencing anxiety, though no injuries were recorded.

Shortly after the attack, Hezam al-Assad, a senior Ansar Allah official, posted in Hebrew on X: "The Yemeni people will not leave Gaza alone!" He added, "The Zionists will pay for their crimes against children, women, and civilians."

The Yemeni Armed Forces announced that they targeted the Israeli Nevatim Air Base in the occupied al-Naqab with a Palestine 2 hypersonic ballistic missile, confirming that the strike successfully hit its target.

In a statement, Yemeni Armed Forces spokesperson Brigadier General Yahya Saree warned that Yemen will expand its range of targets within occupied Palestine in the coming hours and days unless the Israeli regime halts its aggression against Gaza.
