During a separate meeting with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Sayyed Khamenei emphasized the importance of strengthening relations between Iran and Armenia and closely monitoring developments in this regard.

On his account, Pashinyan expressed Armenia's shock upon learning about the death of the Iranian president, minister of Foreign Affairs, and their companions. He expressed confidence that under the guidance and leadership of Sayyed Khamenei, Iran's affairs would remain stable.
